So now Amazon has a bigger, more expensive Kindle. Not encouraging me to buy. Make one that costs less than my laptop and I'm interested.

    No kidding. I want one, but I can't afford it.

    Hey, I read in the newspaper that Google has long-term plans to produce e-books that are compatible with any device that has Internet. That would be great.
